Profiles West is published both online and in print in January and June of each year. All the stories are written by journalism students in the Faculty of Communication Studies (FCS) at Mount Royal University, Calgary, AB. Our purpose is to highlight Western Canadian's passions and pursuits.

The Faculty of Communications Studies provides training in journalism, broadcasting, information design and public relations.
